The basics of my problem are I try to download a large file (http://my.xactware.com/?elqPURLPage%3D9 only 812mb) or a game from Origin (that is 1.1GB) and then I get to about 70-99% of the download and it will never complete.
My home network is: motorola surfboard docsis 3.0 modem (comcast) --> d-link dir-655 (1.37na) -->Asus RT-AC66U (dd-wrt) -->Windows 8 PC
That said, I have tried to connect directly to the modem, and have tried on different machines, all hard wired. One machine I tried is windows 7 as well.
I have reset all the devices, Comcast remotely reset the modem. I have tried chrome, safari, IE and firefox. All time out or give me a 'network error' or just stop downloading. In the case of downloading in Origin, it gets to 98% and then just stops. Eventually it times out.
Any help or thoughts appreciated.
